The 1911 Match Grade is an 8-round magazine designed for reliable feeding. Its heat-treated carbon steel tube provides the magazine body.
The floor plate fits competition boxes and funneled magazine wells. It slides on from the rear to help prevent it from popping off when the magazine is dropped.
A lubricated nylon polymer follower with a metal insert helps the slide stop activate and properly aligns all types of ammunition for reliable feeding. The higher-tensile music-wire spring has a drawn phosphate coating for easier coiling properties and longer service life. An anti-friction coating eases loading and helps reduce malfunctions.
