The Munetoshi Junior Edition Aluminum Iaito is an unsharpened practice sword designed for youths and smaller practitioners training in iaido and Japanese sword arts.
It features an incredibly light aluminum alloy blade with a beautiful aesthetic hamon, a bohi that gives audible feedback for correct edge alignment, and a chu kissaki. The sword is very light and fast to help support proper technique application.
The saya is lacquered black with a brass-fitted kurigata and cotton sageo. The tsuka includes a blackened iron sukashi-style tsuba, double pinned mekugi, a brass flower menuki, crisp white same (ray skin), and black cotton ito tsukamaki. It also comes with a FREE black sword bag.
