This 2XL Size Black & White 14th Century Medieval Type I Style Gambeson from Medieval Gears is a handmade reproduction designed for collectors, LARP, reenactment, and medieval enthusiasts.
It features heavy duty construction with three layers of cotton batting, plus a natural fiber outer shell and lining for exceptional breathability. The front fastens with four period-style straps and brass buckles.
True to surviving originals, the arms are hinged at the yoke of the shoulders rather than fully sewn to the torso, leaving the armpits open for greater ventilation and no pull when swinging a weapon. The gambeson also has removable sleeves and can be worn as a sleeveless, short sleeve, or full sleeve gambeson.
