While the curved blades of scimitars originated in Central Asia, the concept was perfected and spread in Persia, so far as that the Persian name “Shamshir” might just be the root word for scimitar. This particular model is one single piece of polypropylene; great for painting and using as a prop for theater, role playing, and cosplaying.
