This is the 37" Black Tactical Modern Functional Katana Samurai Sword with Saya. This is a western, modernized take of the Samurai sword. Featuring a thermally stable polymer handle with full tang and triple riveted tang with paracord tassel, this sword is built to withstand punishment. The guard is black steel with two paracord holes and the blade is a western-style design with a no habaki and convex ground double-edged blade with primary and secondary bevel and continuous tip. The blade also features a bohi groove and is matte finished. The scabbard is painted ishime pebble textured matte black with paracord wrapping around the scabbard and kurikata.
1060 steel has better edge retention and flexibility to accommodate the bad cuts.
