This 6.5-inch Damascus steel folding knife features a curved clip-point blade with a layered pattern, decorative spine notching, and a copper line. The blade folds into the handle for storage when not in use.
The contoured, alternating two-tone wood handle is secured with five brass pins. Decorative brass filework along the spine and liners adds detail. A fitted black leather belt sheath is included, with a dedicated loop and sharpening rod.
The Damascus billet is made by forging and welding layers of 15N20 and 1095 High Carbon Tool Steels, then folding and re-welding it several times. The pattern is formed during forge-welding and revealed when acid reacts differently with the hard and soft steel layers. The steel’s hardness is 55–60 HRC on the Rockwell scale; the layered construction creates flexibility and toughness, and produces invisible serrations that aid cutting.
