White Deer Damascus 8" Hand Forge Fixed-Blade Skinner Hunting Knife with Wood & Turquoise-Style Handle and Leather Sheath
Built with a bold outdoor-inspired design, this fixed-blade skinner hunting knife combines an eye-catching Damascus-style blade pattern with an elegant, contoured handle. The wide drop-point blade provides a versatile profile suited for outdoor tasks, camping, hunting, and collection display.
The dark wood handle features brass pins, a lanyard hole, and a turquoise-style accent bordered by red spacers. A polished metal bolster adds strength and creates a smooth transition between the blade and handle. The ergonomic shape offers a comfortable, secure grip and distinctive custom appearance.
Damascus for this knife was created by forging and welding multiple layers of steel into a Solid block called a billet (15N20 & 1095 High Carbon Tool Steels). The billet is folded and re-welded several times to produce several layers. Patterns are created by manipulating steel during the forge-welding process. When acid is added to the blade, it attacks the layers of hard and soft steels differently, highlighting the attractive layered pattern in the Steel. The combination of layered hard and soft steel creates blade flexibility and toughness and produces invisible serrations on the blade that aid cutting. The hardness of the Damascus steel is 55-60 HRC on the Rockwell scale. This knife is a must-have for any hunter or outdoorsman! Must be 18 years or older to buy
