The Lone Wolf Arms Alpha Wolf barrel converts a Glock 22 or Glock 31 to 9mm. It fits GEN1-4 and measures 5.03 inch, 128 mm. This threaded model has 1/2 x 28 threads and comes with the appropriate thread protector installed.
Made in the USA from certified, stress-relieved 416 stainless steel, the barrel is designed for lead, plated, or jacketed ammunition. Its button-rifled, three-stage-honed bore and fluting are designed to provide a path for heat and debris to escape. The barrel is heat treated to RC 40-42; its SBN (Salt Bath Nitride) coating, similar to Tennifer, increases surface hardness to RC 60. Exacting tolerances allow for drop-in installation.
For best results, use magazines intended for Glock 17s. In a Generation 4 Glock, using this barrel with the standard Glock recoil spring assembly may cause malfunctions. The supplier recommends a 9mm Glock recoil spring or, for added versatility, a Gen4 guide rod adapter with Gen3 guide rods.
Due to the SBN coating, Alpha Wolf barrels cannot be custom chambered or custom crowned.
