Scabbard: The scabbard of the sword has been constructed from wood with a high gloss black finish. Wrapped around the scabbard of the sword is a green sash. Guard: The guard of the sword has been given a bronzed finish with the four pointed star design. The guard is secured to the blade with a blade collar and Fuchi. Handle: The tsuka core of the sword is wooden with an imitation ray skin samegawa. A blue imitation wrap has been tied over the imitation ray skin.
