The Battle Arms Development Authority Elite is a gray semi-automatic AR rifle chambered in 223 Remington/5.56 NATO. It has a 16" barrel, a mid-length gas system, a polymer grip, a B5 stock, ambidextrous controls, 30 rounds, and 1 magazine.
Its billet BAD556 receiver is made from 7075-T6 aircraft grade aluminum. The free-float rail handguard has M-LOK attachment points at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock, plus a full-length Picatinny accessory rail at 12 o'clock with BAD's signature notch cut matching the upper receiver.
The 4150 chrome-moly steel barrel has a black nitride finish and is individually head-spaced with a matching 9310 steel bolt and 8620 black nitride carrier. The rifle uses an anodized gray finish.
