Black Moshiro Honmono Functional Japanese Sword Sengoku Warrior Katana
An authentic Moshiro 1045 High Carbon Steel blade is hand crafted by pro sword smiths and heat treated via proprietary process to obtain the right balance of steel toughness and hardness. In addition to crafting excellent steel quality, each blade is sharpened and honed at a 15 degree angle to produce a superb cutting edge. This Moshioro Honmono sword features a weight-reducing blood groove that runs the length of the blade. That extra durable 8mm thick blade will feel more like a lightweight Katana and the sharp Kisaki and Yokote will slice through bamboo mats like butter.
The handle is made of sturdy hardwood and wrapped in genuine Ray skin, plus black Ito wrap. Dual bamboo pegs secure the full tang to the handle. Includes hardwood Saya and cloth sword bag.
