It is crafted from American CPM-S35VN premium powdered steel and paired with a premium G-10 handle with heat treated nested steel liners. The coarse-textured handle surface helps provide a secure grip even in cold, wet conditions, while the contoured shape is designed for a comfortable and safe hold even while wearing heavy gloves.
For added reliability, the SR1 Tanto uses Cold Steel's Tri-Ad locking mechanism, known for shock and impact resistance. It takes inspiration from the SRK and follows Andrew Demko's minimalist, practical design approach.
