These kids’ backpack inserts provide discreet ballistic protection for everyday school use, without changing how a child carries a backpack. They are tested to NIJ Level IIIA standards and designed to stop common handgun rounds, including 9mm, .357 Magnum and .44 Magnum. The product description also states protection against common handgun, shotgun and submachine rounds.
The listed size is 8.5" x 12", and size options are 8.5X12 and 10X15. Color options are Black, White, Red, Blue, Purple and Yellow. The insert is designed for nearly all school backpacks and fits in the main compartment or laptop sleeve area, depending on the backpack style. Measure the backpack’s inside before ordering for the best fit.
The insert is flexible and weighs less than a 20oz water bottle; it is as thin as 1/4". Its durable, water-resistant outer sleeve is easy to wipe clean. The inserts are 100% American Made.
