The Caldwell Matrix Shooting Rest is a highly versatile rest designed to deliver rock solid stability and accurate support for a wide range of firearms.
It features an ultra rigid 2-piece sliding U-channel frame that adjusts from 21.75″ to 26.25″ for a better fit with any gun. The open central channel provides clearance for hi-capacity detachable magazines, including AR style guns, as well as lever action guns. An innovative spring loaded front elevation system allows fast, one handed, no wobble height adjustment from 7.5″ to 10.5″.
The front and rear supports are overmolded to protect the gun’s finish while staying firm and stable. A storage compartment is built into the front of the base, and its removable lid adds extra clearance when detached or works as a rubberized rear support surface for firing handguns when left in place.
Shooters can also convert the Matrix into a compact front rest by removing the rear portion of the frame. Weight is approximately 5 pounds, the width is 19″, and the box size is 16.5″ wide x 19.5″ high x 6.5″ deep.
