The Independence is a hand-crafted leather IWB holster molded specifically for the Canik METE MC9. Designed by a master leather craftsman, 20-year Navy veteran, and IDPA competitive shooter, it is made in the USA from premium vegetable-tanned, full-grain leather. The maker describes the leather as coming from “patriotic cows.”
Its double-layer shell uses 8 oz of full-grain premium leather for rigidity and durability. The grain-side inner layer helps protect the firearm from holster wear. A proprietary design and 3 retention points provide retention, while heavy-duty stitching supports durability.
The low-profile design has tuckable clips that adjust for ride and cant through multiple configurations. Available options are Brown / Right, Brown / Left, Black / Right, and Black / Left.
