This black XL classic denim jacket is designed to discreetly conceal a lightweight NIJ IIIA bullet-resistant liner. It has one ballistic panel in the back and two in the front, extending up to the collar bone area to cover vital organs.
The denim is pre-washed 100% cotton, with double top stitching and heavy-duty metal hardware. The XL chest size is 46 - 48". To measure chest, measure under the arms and across the shoulder blades; measure sleeve from the center back of the neck, over the shoulder, down the arm to the wrist; measure waist around the waistline.
The Full Wrap option provides side coverage: front and back panels overlap on each side. The additional ballistic material may lessen concealability slightly. The description states the panels use the latest DuPont Kevlar technologies, meet NIJ IIIA standards, and stop 357 Magnum, 44 Magnum, 9mm, .45, hollow point ammunition and more. It describes the protective coverage area as identical to traditional law enforcement body armor vests.
