The Cold Steel San Mai Black Bear Classic is a classic sub-hilt design fighter inspired by Bob Loveless, one of the founding members of the knifemaker's guild.
It features a VG-10 San Mai® blade with a 4 1/2" blade length, 5mm thickness, and an overall length of 13 1/4". The handle is 5" long G-10, and the black G10 scales are fastened to the blade tang by 6 stainless pins and hand shaped and contoured. The blade has a polished saten finish and honed, buffed edges for hair shaving sharpness.
