This custom-made, full-tang Damascus traditional buffalo skinner is described in the title as having an Exotic Dollar Wood handle; the supplied specifications identify the handle as Frost wood. It has silver pins and a solid brass bolster.
The knife measures 9" overall, with a 5" blade and a 4" handle. Its hand-forged Damascus blade is made from 15N20 and 1095 high-carbon tool steels and has a hardness of 55–60 HRC on the Rockwell scale. A genuine leather sheath with a belt loop on one end is included.
The Damascus billet is made by forge welding multiple layers, then folding and re-welding it several times. Patterns are created by manipulating the steel during forging and highlighted when acid affects the hard and soft layers differently. The layered steel is described as providing flexibility and toughness, with invisible serrations that aid cutting.
