Built for Saltwater Power
The 2025 Daiwa Saltist Star Drag Conventional Reel is made for serious saltwater anglers who need strong, consistent performance that holds up over time. Its precision star drag system uses Daiwa’s proven ATD (Advanced Tournament Drag) with carbon fiber washers to deliver smooth, even pressure—perfect for long runs, powerful fish, and steady control throughout the fight.
Crafted with a rigid aluminum frame and side plates, the Saltist resists flex under heavy loads, while Daiwa’s CRBB (Corrosion Resistant Ball Bearings) keep the reel turning smoothly, even after repeated exposure to saltwater. The large handle knob and smooth gearing give you solid cranking power when you need to turn the tide, whether you're fishing coastal structure or deeper offshore drops.
Smooth Power. Saltwater Tough. Take on hard-fighting saltwater fish with a reel that delivers consistent drag and durable performance every time you hit the water.
