The Davis Vantage Pro2 is a wireless weather station with a WeatherLink Console and standard radiation shield for local weather monitoring. Its sensor suite measures outside temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, and rainfall, with data updates every 2.5 seconds and a transmission range of 1,000’/300 m from the sensor suite to the console. The anemometer can be mounted up to 40’/12 m from the rest of the sensor suite.
The rugged, weather-proof sensor suite is solar-powered with battery backup; the AC-powered console also has battery backup. Its HD color touchscreen displays and analyzes weather data, supports a customizable dashboard showing up to 21 parameters, and stores historical records for custom graphs. Choose from hundreds of parameters and a dozen sounds for notifications.
The WeatherLink Console can display, store, and analyze data without Wi-Fi. Connect it to Wi-Fi to upload and share data through the WeatherLink Cloud. It can receive reports from a Vantage Pro2 or Vantage Vue sensor suite, or a custom network of multiple Davis sensors.
The passive, multi-plate standard radiation shield protects temperature sensors from solar radiation and radiated or reflected heat sources, with construction designed for maximum airflow. It may be mounted on a metal pipe or wood surface; mounting hardware is included, and the mounting pole is sold separately. Use it with a Wireless Temperature Station, Leaf & Soil Moisture/Temperature Station, and temperature sensors used to measure air temperature.
