The Defender-Xtreme 15" black tactical throwing pick axe has a stainless steel head and a handle described as able to take hard abuse.
The stainless steel head maintains a sharp edge. The axe is made for throwing from the required distance, with a solid rotation and driving force behind a light or heavy toss.
The supplier notes that the axe may get damaged in a beginner's hand, while a more seasoned thrower may keep it in use for years.
