The blade has full length double grooves and is highly polished forge folded steel with around 2,000 layers. This sword has an immense presence when swung and commands attention and respect. This is a highly ornate sword and would be an excellent display piece.

Blade: The blade of the Jian has been constructed from forge folded steel, through hardened, and highly polished. It has double grooves running the full length of the blade.
The blade comes full tang and very sharp.
