This Demon Slayer mini tanto is styled after Tanjiro Kamado’s black Nichirin sword. The product title identifies it as 16.5 inches; the listed overall length is 17.5 inches with the scabbard.
The blade is 11 inches long, 4mm thick, made of stainless steel, finished in black, and not sharp. The handle is 5.5 inches long and made of faux black leather wrapped with a red inner wrap. The guard and fittings are zinc alloy. The scabbard has wood construction with silver accessories.
In the series, Nichirin blades take on a distinct color when first drawn by their owner, provided the wielder has enough skill. Tanjiro wields a black blade; its symbolism is unknown. Black blades are described as rare, and their wielders are said not to tend to live long or become a Pillar of the Demon Slayer Corps.
Must be 18 or older to buy. The product is not sharp. It is intended for legal use by responsible buyers; the supplier states it will not sell to anyone under 18.
