The Flex Coat Finishing Rod Dryer rotates custom rod blanks during finish application and curing. Choose a 6 RPM or 18 RPM HD configuration with a Standard or Slip Clutch option. The 6 RPM speed is suited to underwraps and heavier finish applications; 18 RPM is an all-around choice for rod finishing.
Each dryer has a self-adjusting chuck and a USA-made continuous-duty gear motor. The Slip Clutch option lets you rotate the rod by hand while the motor continues running. One Flex Coat Rod Support Stand is included; its 3D-printed base and non-slip feet help support longer rods and reduce sag and vibration.
The stand and dryer bases are 3D-printed. Avoid extended storage or operation in direct sunlight or other high-heat environments, as excessive heat may warp plastic components.
