The G5 Outdoors Montec Pre-Season is a steel fixed broadhead made for practice shooting. It is dimensionally identical to the Montec, providing predictable flight and accuracy when using either broadhead and easing the transition from field point to broadhead while minimizing the need for field points.
It weighs 85 grains and has a 1-1/8″ cutting diameter. The one-piece construction is 100% steel tough and 100% spin tested. Rounded edges reduce wear on targets and make it suitable for practice. Its black lubricious, wear-resistant coating distinguishes it from the hunting version of the Montec.
Each pack contains 3 broadheads. The design also eliminates the need to re-tune.
