The factory bolt handle found on the Beretta 1301 is partially plastic, and this replacement is designed to improve the appearance while lightening the standard Beretta 1301 Tactical Charging Handle.
It is made to replace the small factory bolt retracting handle. Simply remove the factory handle and install the GG&G Beretta 1301 Slotted Tactical Charging Handle.
