The Independence is a leather outside-the-waistband (OWB) holster custom-molded for the Glock 48. It is hand-crafted in the USA from 8 oz of full-grain premium leather, described as vegetable-tanned leather from “patriotic cows,” with two layers for durability. The design was developed by a master leather craftsman, 20-year Navy veteran, and IDPA competitive shooter.
A durable thumb-break strap locks the pistol in place, while the proprietary design supports retention, comfort, and ease of use. The holster is red-dot ready and also works with non-red-dot firearms. Its rear “tail fin” pulls the firearm against the body to help reduce printing and protect the firearm against holster wear.
Front and rear belt loops use reinforced PVC-coated ballistic nylon. The dual straps snap open for quick deployment and easy on-and-off, and the specially designed reinforced loops fit any standard 1.5" belt. Choose Brown or Black, in Right- or Left-hand orientation.
