This is the Hand Made Tiger Samurai Katana Sword. Careful attention was paid to the detailing of this sword; the fittings feature tigers in high relief. The blade itself features an exquisite horimono carving on each side. This sword would make a wonderful addition to any collection.
Attributes of the Weapon: Blade: The blade has been handmade with high carbon steel and features a horimono carving on each side. Sword is full tang. Saya: The Saya is constructed from hard wood with a black lacquer finish and black chemical fiber sageo tied around a wooden Kurigata. The Koi-Guchi has been lined and hardened. Tsuba: The Habaki is a one piece brass construction. The Tsuba is finely detailed; it is made of brass and features tigers. Tsuka: The Fuchi is brass and features tigers. The Tsuka core is wooden with authentic samegawa. Black Ito has been wrapped over the Same. Menuki are on each side of the Tsuka in the likeness of a tiger. The Kashira is also brass and features tigers.
