The CAS Hanwei Koi Katana is a T10 samurai sword with a hand-forged high-carbon steel blade, differentially hardened using the traditional claying method. Its fittings are superbly antiqued, and the black iron tsuba features a finely rendered Koi with front-and-back detail.
The black-and-white mounting includes black same, premium white Japanese cotton tsuka-ito, a deep black lacquer saya, and a black-and-white striped cotton sageo. The sword comes with a protective cloth bag and traditional maintenance kit.
