This handmade late medieval round buckler shield by Lord Of Battles is made from tough 16 gauge mild steel and has a blackened finish. It is suited to medieval events or décor.
The buckler measures approximately 12 inches (30.5 cm) in diameter and weighs about 1 Kg 152 grams. Its metal handle is reinforced with shock-absorbing genuine wood.
When packaged, the product is carefully coated with oil as a temporary protective layer against corrosion (rust). This oil can easily be wiped off with any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
