The Legendary "Maximus" Gladiator Steel Helmet from Lord Of Battles is handmade from 20 gauge MILD STEEL with a polished finish.
It measures about 29 cm in height, with an inner depth of about 24 cm front to back at eye level, an inner width of about 21 cm at ear level, and eye slits about 7 cm long and 3.5 cm wide. The inner circumference is 68 cm before leather liner attachment, and it fits most head circumferences from about 58 cm to 61-62 cm, depending on the shape of the wearer’s head.
An adjustable faux leather liner is already attached inside the helmet and is often enough for most adult male heads. If you plan to wear an additional padded cap, measure your head circumference while wearing it.
The helmet weighs about 1 Kg 330 grams and is carefully coated with a layer of oil when packaged as a temporary protective layer against corrosion (rust), which can easily be wiped off using any oil remover or even a dry cloth.
