The late medieval bascinet is an ideal helmet for a heavily armoured mounted medieval knight. It was quite popular among medieval armies because of its versatility and good balance between protection and mobility. Just attach one of our chainmail aventails (sold separately) to its vervelles, and you will get an optimum combination for your next LARP or reenactment, offering a great look and protection.
