The MDT XRS is a matte black rifle chassis designed for the CZ 457. It pairs the fit and feel of a traditionally shaped rifle stock with the features of a modern precision rifle chassis system.
A full-length CNC-machined core of 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum is covered with high-strength textured polymer panels for insulation from the elements. The precision aluminum V-block bedding system is designed to ensure fit and function and maximize accuracy. The chassis weighs 3.9 lbs, depending on inlet.
The replaceable, overmolded and textured grip system includes both an angled grip and a vertical grip. Length of pull adjusts via spacers from 13.25" to 15+", and the cheek piece has quick adjustment for scope height over bore.
The 12"-long forend has built-in M-LOK slots for accessory mounting and attachment of ARCA or picatinny rails. The XRS is suited to hunting or target rifles and can serve as a performance upgrade for a factory rifle or a foundation for a custom rifle build.
