The Midwest Industries MI Alpha Mini Dot Mount in black provides a way to mount red dots with a Picatinny or T2 footprint. It is designed for AK-47 and AK-74 rear sights on stamped or milled firearms.
Steel locking blocks create a rigid design intended to minimize side-to-side play. A built-in iron sight allows lower 1/3 co-witness for backup sights with most red dots. The mount requires no permanent firearm modification, so the factory rear sight can be reinstalled if desired. Standard AKM-pattern rifles can still be fully field stripped with the mount installed.
Made from hard coat anodized 6061 aluminum, this patent-pending design is made in the USA. Minor fitting may be required; tools are not included.
