The Model 100L 4-Link Chained Handcuffs are Smith & Wesson extra link handcuffs with an additional chain link between the cuffs for greater distance.
They use the same slot double locking mechanism as the Model 100 double locking police handcuffs and feature satin nickel plating with exposed rivets for added strength. The satin nickel finish has a dull cloudy appearance to help minimize glare in tactical situations.
The added link is useful when prisoners have difficulty bringing their arms together behind their back. Specifications include a wrist opening of 2.04, first notch inside perimeter of 8.40, last notch inside perimeter of 5.80, tightest inside width of 1.80, weight of 10.0 oz, 23 locking positions, distance between cuffs of 3.25, maximum overall length of 10.23, and two keys included.
