The Moshiro 1045 High Carbon Steel Blue Blade Katana is a handmade sword with a sharp, full-tang 1045 high carbon steel blade. The blade is secured with dual bamboo pegs and features a blue blood groove. It is described as having the same weight and balance as a “battle ready” katana.
Overall length is 41 inches, blade length is 28 inches, and handle length is 11 inches. The hardwood handle is made using ray skin and has a tight blue cord wrapping. Traditional parts include a high-quality copper tsuba and fittings, plus a brass collar and seppa.
