The Mossberg 940 Pro Field is a 12 Gauge semi-automatic shotgun with a 3-inch chamber and a 28-inch vent rib barrel. It has a matte finish, blued barrel and receiver, Accu-Set choke tubes, a black synthetic stock, a fiber optic front sight, and 4 rounds.
Its durable gas system allows for up to 1500 rounds between cleanings. Corrosion-resistant internal parts and finishing include a nickel boron-coated gas piston/rings, magazine tube, hammer/sear, and shell stop. An enlarged, beveled loading port, elongated elevator, and anodized follower support smooth operation.
The adjustable stock provides 1.25 in. of LOP flexibility. The stock and streamlined forend feature Mossberg signature texturing for a secure grip.
