The Munetoshi Yuki is a Korean Gumdo sword designed for mat cutting, with a short point of balance, thin wide blade, and 3 sided Samgakdo design for fast, precise cuts.
It features through hardened high carbon steel drawn to a spring heat treat, a full tang construction, a very sharp edge, and an aesthetic hamon on the blade. The sword also includes a simplistic blackened steel Ko Geung Ee, black cotton Gamge and Kumn Ok, black lacquered ray skin Sage, and antiqued alloy Duitum Egi and Apm Egi.
Key specs include an overall length of 38.75", a 28.25" nagasa, 10.75" Kal Jaru length, 0.27" thickness at M Agi, 0.125" thickness at Kalcut, 1.418" width at M Agi, 1.133" width at Kalcut, 1.6" Kalcut length, 0.606" sori, 1.9 LBS weight without Kaljip, 5.25" balance point, and 58 HRC hardness of Yakiba.
