This is the Handmade Shirasaya Style Katana. When the sword is sheathed the handle and saya look like one solid piece.
Blade: The blade of the sword has been constructed from through hardened high carbon steel with bohi and aesthetic hamon.
Saya (Scabbard): The saya is wooden with a dark stained finish and fits seamlessly into the handle.
Tsuka (Handle): The handle is the same stained wood as the saya.
When the sword is sheathed the handle and saya look like one solid piece. The tang is secured by a single bamboo mekugi.
