Built to handle the relentless demands of offshore spinning applications, this offshore spinning rod kit combines proven strength, balance, and durability in a purpose-driven package. At the core of the build is the MHX X-Fighter rod blank, engineered to deliver exceptional lifting power, responsive action, and the backbone needed to stop powerful offshore predators while maintaining fish-fighting comfort.
Blank Specifications: 7'0" | 20-50 lb. | Moderate Action | Medium Power
Virtus UL Unlimited Guides feature an ATLAS 316 stainless steel frame with a broad, thick-gauge construction that provides exceptional rigidity and impact resistance. The elevated Ring Lock design keeps line safely off the blank under heavy loads while securely protecting the ceramic insert, even when fishing unlimited class tackle. EVA grips provide all-day comfort and control, even when wet, while reducing overall rod weight without sacrificing durability.
American Tackle Virtus Light Guide Set: NBRLVUL-20, 16, 12, 10, 8, 8, 8, 8, 8
Completing the build is the American Tackle POSI-LOCK® aluminum reel seat, which keeps your spinning reel locked in place under extreme pressure, along with a rugged American Tackle gimbal designed for maximum stability in a belt or rod holder. Purpose-built for serious offshore anglers, this spinning rod kit delivers the performance and reliability needed to confidently battle tuna, amberjack, and other hard-fighting offshore species.
