The Ruggedized LightCap is a durable, quiet, low-profile, user-serviceable cover for weapon lights. This version has a matte finish, is black, measures 33 mm, and includes a Shockcollar.
It fits the Cloud Defense Rein 3.0 or similar lights, and is designed to fit most weapon lights on the market. The LightCap eliminates reflections and also serves as a safety against negligent light discharges that could reveal the user's position.
This safety feature is especially important when using night vision and IR laser/illuminators, where an unplanned white light discharge could be catastrophic.
