The Pine Crane Wakizashi is a samurai short sword that carries the Pine Crane motif through its detailed fittings and earth-tone finish. This current batch features a brown tsuka-ito instead of black; everything else matches the stated specifications.
It includes a 19 5/8" forged T10 blade with a prominently visible hamon, mirror-finished ji and mune, and a 1 1/4" kissaki. The handle uses brown cotton ito over white same, with silver crane menuki and bronzed steel tsuba, fuchi, and kashira.
The textured dark brown saya is finished with the first 7" in black and matte striped paint, plus a charcoal and copper accented sageo. Buffalo horn korikata and kojiri complete the scabbard details. Sageo colors may vary, and the katana, wakizashi, or tanto sageo may not be wrapped as pictured.
