The Pmx is the latest SMG developed by Beretta, designed as a compact, lightweight, yet rugged platform for demanding use.
It combines extensive use of polymer materials and light alloy metals with major components like the barrel and bolt machined from special high-strength steel for durability in harsh environments and abusive conditions. The lightweight, ergonomically designed stock folds by simply pushing a button.
Control is designed for ease of use from either side, with an oversized magazine release button positioned on both sides and a cocking handle that can be easily reversed. The Pmx uses a translucent, lightweight, resistant 30-round polymer magazine for visual round count, and it is equipped with Picatinny rails (MIL-STD-1913) on top, bottom, and the sides of the receiver.
