When fishing for post-spawn bass, flipping and pitching around wood, docks, and emerging vegetation becomes an effective way to locate active fish fast. The key is having a rod that can handle heavier weights for precise presentations into tight cover while still offering the control needed to work a bait efficiently. Built on one of the most popular blanks in the MHX lineup, the FP885 delivers that balance of power and versatility. Its strong backbone allows anglers to punch jigs and Texas rigs into cover with confidence, while the responsive tip provides accuracy and feel when pitching to isolated targets, making it a dependable & versatile choice for targeting bass in almost any season or condition.
