During the pre spawn and early spring transition, a spybait can be a deadly tool for targeting staging bass in clear water, especially when fish are suspended or slow cruising. Forward facing sonar gives anglers a major advantage by allowing you to track fish and structure in real time, make precise casts, and adjust depth and retrieve speed based on how bass react to your presentation. Built on the SJ841, this presentation focused setup delivers the subtle, exact lure control needed for spybaits while maintaining the sensitivity to detect light springtime bites. Paired with forward facing sonar, this custom build becomes a powerful combination for putting more pre spawn fish in the boat.
