This full-size, fully wearable Roman Imperial Gallic Centurion helmet is styled after helmets from 100 B.C. to 300 A.D. It is handmade from 18-gauge carbon steel with brass trim and an all-red horse hair plume that is 7 inches tall and 16 inches wide.
The helmet has a chrome finish with brass, a layered steel top, a movable steel visor, brass decoration rivets, a brass-trimmed bottom edge, a carbon steel neck shield designed to fit over a gorget, and hinged shields on each side of the face. Its overall height is 20 inches with the plume and 12.75 inches without it; front-to-back depth is 15 inches, and helmet circumference is 28 inches.
