Use it on any smooth surface to secure gear, lines, or add a removable mounting point on your boat, trailer, or vehicle. The vacuum-mounted D-ring is rated for 120 lbs of pull strength when pulled straight from the center.
The flat-top stainless ring is built for a sleek, versatile look, and it comes off clean when you no longer need it. Side (shear) loads are less, but still very strong, and using multiple mounts increases overall holding power.
The mount will warn you if it loses vacuum: an orange indicator appears on the pump plunger. Repump to restore full holding strength and check regularly, especially before driving or moving gear.
