This small stainless buckler / boss is made for sword and buckler training. It follows the classic medieval-style hand shield format with a fist-grip design for paired drills and close work.
Built from 16 Gauge Stainless Steel, it includes a Comfortable Pinned Wood Handle and a Leather Thong. The overall size is 6.5" and the weight is 10oz. Specs will vary slightly from piece to piece.
The dome is large enough to accommodate most light / medium duty sparring gloves. For builders, the domed shape and size also make it suitable as a boss for many different shield styles.
