Jerk Bait Smallmouth Casting Rod Kit
When targeting smallmouth with a jerkbait, the MB812XF is purpose-built as a casting rod for anglers who depend on long, accurate casts to cover water and reach wary fish. Its crisp, extra fast action makes smaller jerkbaits come alive with sharp, controlled twitches that produce the erratic movement smallmouth cannot ignore. The lightweight, highly responsive blank keeps the bait working exactly as intended while enhancing sensitivity, helping anglers detect subtle strikes that often happen on the pause. Balanced with the right mix of power and precision, the MB812XF provides the control needed for solid hooksets and confident fish fighting, making it a go-to choice for serious jerkbait anglers.
Specifications: 6'9" | 8-15 lb. | 1/8 - 9/16 oz. | Fast Action | Medium Power
