Squarebill Smallmouth Casting Rod Kit
Fishing a squarebill crankbait is a proven tactic for targeting smallmouth around shallow cover, and the CB844 is built to handle the job with precision. Designed to help anglers pick apart laydowns, rock banks, and other snag-prone structure, this blank makes it easy to deliver accurate casts where reaction strikes happen. The responsive moderate-fastaction allows the bait to deflect naturally while helping keep treble-hooked fish pinned during aggressive runs. Although slightly shorter than many traditional cranking rods, that added control becomes a major advantage when accuracy matters most.
Specifications: 7'0" | 10-17 lb. | 1/4 – 7/8 oz | Mod-Fast Action | Medium Power
